The Windham County incident occurred on Friday, June 7 in the town of Killingly.
According to Connecticut State Police, Marc Kaczor, age 36, inappropriately and sexually touched a woman as she was walking in Owen Bell Park on Town Farm Road.
The woman was able to snap a picture of Kaczor, who is from Dayville, during the interaction, and he fled on foot.
Police conducted a K9 search, which led authorities directly to Kaczor, who was still wearing the same clothes as he was in the victim’s picture.
He was placed under arrest and charged with:
- Breach of peace;
- Sexual assault; and
- Unlawful restraint.
Kaczor was held on a $25,000 bond and is due to appear at Danielson Superior Court on Monday, June 10.
